Ittiri–Codrongianos Transmission Line

Ittiri

The Context

The construction of the Ittiri–Codrongianos transmission line in 2010 marked a significant milestone in SELT’s technical and organisational development. Projects of this type had previously been undertaken only in support of other contractors.
Successfully delivering the project independently demonstrated SELT’s capability to execute major transmission infrastructure works under its own management, laying the foundations for the company’s continued growth in the years that followed.

The Challenge

Delays in the contract award process significantly reduced the available construction programme, requiring the project to be completed within a very demanding timeframe. Heavy rainfall further complicated site operations by restricting access to the construction areas.
Despite these challenges, SELT completed the works ahead of the client’s schedule through the use of specialist equipment and temporary access roads, ensuring continuous progress throughout the project.

A Dynamic Team

At SELT, we are committed to delivering results. Rather than working against natural conditions, we adapt our methods to them. Meeting project deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality is the objective of every construction site we deliver.
Our multidisciplinary team brings together experienced specialists from different technical disciplines, enabling us to respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges throughout the project.
