SELT SELT designs, constructs and maintains high- and medium-voltage overhead transmission lines, delivering new-build projects as well as the upgrading and refurbishment of existing transmission lines up to 420 kV. Every project is supported by detailed technical planning that takes account of environmental conditions, road crossings, existing infrastructure, service continuity and the safety of working at height.

Overhead Transmission Line Construction and Maintenance
Our expertise covers every stage of overhead transmission line construction, from shallow and deep foundations—including micropiles—to the erection of steel lattice and tubular towers, as well as the installation and stringing of conductors and overhead earth wires in multi-bundle configurations.
Drawing on extensive field experience, we safely execute projects on both new and energized transmission lines, including work in challenging terrain. Where site conditions require it, we utilize helicopter support for transporting materials and equipment to locations with limited or no ground access.

Scope of Services

Safety and Compliance
Working on overhead transmission lines requires rigorous safety procedures, particularly for activities performed at height and on or near energized infrastructure.
SELT operates in accordance with certified management systems and established operating procedures designed to manage operational risks, coordinate interfaces, and ensure full compliance with applicable technical standards and regulations. Direct technical supervision throughout every stage of construction, together with dedicated in-house, Safety and Quality teams, enables us to perform safely and efficiently—even on live transmission networks.
